Portland is already a childcare desert, making it difficult for parents and guardians to find care. Even then, there’s always the concern of whether that group will be a good fit for their kids.
Portland Outdoor Explorers strives to be different.
As a 100% child-led outdoor education group, kids only ever have to worry about being kids when they’re with us. As a group founded, owned, and operated by queer, disabled, neurodivergent, and female-presenting people, we create a space where EVERYONE can be safe and be themselves.
