Hello friends and family of the Portland Outdoor Explorers!

For the past few years, P.O.E. has been utilizing Uplifter in order to make signing up for our programs possible. Now, we’re making it easier. Faster. Better than it was before.

Why the switch?
We’ve heard (and shared in) your frustrations about Uplifter’s user interface and the limitations and complications that it places on users (including us). Sawyer powers registration for thousands of children’s activity businesses, so you can safely and easily book activities for your family.

Do I need to sign up for everything all over again?
We have been working with Sawyer to ensure your information is moved over painlessly from Uplifter to Sawyer. In addition to this email, you’ll receive an email from Sawyer to login for the first time. It’ll also give more detailed information about using the new site. Here’s a list of what information will be moved over:

Student name (first and last)

Parent/Guardian name (first and last)

Student birthday

Student Allergies

Name of school

Parent/Guardian phone number

Parent/Guardian address

Private notes regarding student (mental health/behavioral notes, medications, etc.)

While we’ve done our best to make sure all your information is moved over correctly, please be sure to double-check your info after logging in.

When are we switching over?
August 1st
We want everyone to have plenty of time to explore the new registration process, ask questions, and feel comfortable using the new site before the 2025-2026 school year begins.

Already have a Sawyer account?

If you’ve previously set up an account with Sawyer, you can use those same account credentials to log in. https://www.hisawyer.com/pdx-outdoor-explorers/auth/log-in

Step 2: Customize your account

Once your account is created, you can add children to your profile, add payment methods on file, and more. https://www.hisawyer.com/account
