Upcoming Events

On Friday, May 1st, we’ll have our first no-school day of the month, and are planning an exciting trip to a nearby skate park! Students are invited to bring their bicycles, skate boards, or roller blades along with them when they join us for camp, and ride them in a safe and monitored environment. Students uninterested or unable to ride one of these vehicles will still have plenty of options for an exciting and fulfilling day in the great outdoors from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
A properly fitting helmet will be REQUIRED in order for your explorer to ride their vehicle. No student who arrives without a helmet will be permitted to ride their vehicle or anyone else’s.
Other safety items such as elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards are not required, but are encouraged. This mini field trip will not impact our pickup and drop-off times, however, if you need to pick your explorer(s) up prior to 4:00pm, please reach out to our counselors make arrangements. Pickup and drop-off will still take place at Rose City Park at the corners of NE 62nd Ave and NE Thompson St.

On Friday, May 15th, we’ll be enjoying our next Guardians’ Night Off with the hit film, Lilo & Stitch! The explorers have been asking for this summery classic, and so we’ve chosen Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month to showcase this awesome movie. We’ll be serving Hawaiian-themed foods for our dinner, drinks, snacks, and desert.
GNO will be hosted at Rose City Park United Methodist Church from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
